About Us

United Hope International is a Christian faith-based non-governmental not-for-profit organization committed to sharing the love of Christ through giving extraordinary hope and care to the hopeless and most vulnerable members of the community. Through an established children’s home& a school, we support and care for orphans, widows, and vulnerable members of the community through health, education, and livelihoods programs.

Founded in 2008 as a simple youth advocacy association, the organization expanded in scope and size and consequently registered in 2010 as a fully-fledged NGO with a national presence in Kenya.


To reach out to needy children and vulnerable members of the society by sharing the love of Christ through caregiving, nurturing, and discipleship for the realization full potential of the society.

What We Do.

Our Key objective is; To give extraordinary hope and care to the hopeless and most vulnerable members of the community by;

2. Nurturing talents through Christian mechanisms.
3. Spiritual nourishment & child development

How we do it!

In order to achieve these, we undertake various programs based on our five-year strategic plan. Currently, we have the following programs;

Health Programs

Currently, projects under this program include- (i) HIV project, (ii) WASH & Disaster responses –floods, (iii) GBV Interventions, (iv) Drugs and substance abuse, (v) Covid-19 Interventions

Education Support Program

We currently run the following projects under this program; (i) Scholarships (ii) TranStar Academy School

Livelihoods Support

Through which we currently have – (i) Children’s home (ii) Orphans and Widows home care project


Executive Director

Mr. Willis Auko Atieno

Mr. Willis is a youthful witness of the good deeds of Jesus Christ and is committed to the evangelism of Christ-discipleship. Through the spirit of God, he believed that one day God would use him as His vessel and mouth piece to raise and support orphaned children within Kenya and to help the many abandoned widows in his community and around Kenya.


Maureen Akinyi

Maureen is a highly motivated strong woman of integrity on whose knowledge& skills on financial management the organization has relied on and benefited from immensely.
